How do I book a session?

Fill out our booking form at /book. Select your room, date, and time slot. New clients will complete a quick one-time identity verification. It only takes a few minutes. Once verified, your booking moves straight to payment.

What is the minimum booking time?

All sessions are a minimum of 4 hours. We offer fixed time slots rather than hourly rates, so you always know exactly what you're paying upfront.

How does payment work?

We accept Zelle (preferred, no fees) to Basswoodstudios.la@gmail.com. If you need an invoice, just reply to your payment email and we'll generate one via Stripe. All sales are final.

Do you have an engineer available?

Yes, you can request an engineer when booking. The engineer fee is a flat add-on that varies by slot and is never discounted. Our engineers are experienced and ready to help you get the most out of your session.

What is your cancellation policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds. If you need to reschedule, you can submit a request from your profile page up to 48 hours before your session. Reschedules are for the same room and time slot on a different date and are subject to availability.

How do I reschedule?

Log in and go to your profile page. Under Upcoming Sessions, click "Request Reschedule" on your booking. You must be identity-verified and at least 48 hours out from your session. We will review the request and confirm availability. A maximum of 2 reschedule requests are allowed per booking.

How many people can come?

The Ivy Room accommodates up to 6 guests and the Iris Room up to 5 (including the artist). This keeps the vibe right and the sessions focused.

Question 8

Is the studio 420 friendly?

Yes, we're 420 friendly. Cigarettes are not permitted inside the studio. A $200 fee applies for cigarette smoke violations.

What are the membership tiers?

We offer Gold ($11/mo), Platinum ($16/mo), and Diamond ($22/mo) memberships with increasing discounts and perks. Members get discounted rates, flash deal access, and free sessions after hitting punch card thresholds. Visit our Memberships page for full details.

How far in advance can I book?

You can book as far in advance as you'd like, even the same day, right up until your session starts, as long as the slot is still open. If you want an engineer, we recommend booking at least 3 hours ahead so we can schedule one for you.
